1) Note

 - It only works when installing its relevant printer drivers on your
   computer.

  * You can get the latest version Printer Driver at the following URL.

    http://www.sony.net/Products/DP-driver/index.html

 - Make sure that the computer is connected to the printer when using 
   this software.

 - You cannot use this software with multiple printers connected to 
   the computer ath the same time. Connect one printer at a time when
   using this software.

 - Please use this software before you print by printer driver.
   Do not use this software until the connected printer is working.

2) System requiements

 - Computer (running of the following)

   Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit)
   Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit/64-bit)
   Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit)

 - PC monitor 

   SVGA (800 x 600 dot) or higher resolution.

 - Supported printer firmware

   Sony UP-CX1 Version 1.31 or later.

3) Operation

 - Start the program

   To launch the utility, double-click on the icon of SonyCxUtility.exe.

 - Adjusting the print position.

   To set an adjustment value, move the respective slider left or right, or
   enter a number in the respective input field.

 - Buttons

   [Load settings from printer]
   Aquires the current setting values from the connected printer.

   [Save settings from printer]
   Sets and saves the current setting values in the utility to the 
   connected printer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
