1.Features
  This software allows you to monitor the status of EPSON printers connected to a network
  from the administrator's computer and to change the settings of the printer.
  
  Assist to update the WPA-Enterprise Certificate of multiple printers (TM-P60II/P20, TM-P80, UB-R04).
  
  You start EpsonMonitoringTool140.exe, and please install it according to instructions.

  *1 In order to use the software, Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 redistributable package is required.
     Please check the manual for details.


3.Restrictions

  3.1 It is recommended to spare over 20 second to search printer. If you search printer 
	  many times in a short time, you may fail to check printer's status.
  
  3.2 Please set display color settings to High Color (16bit) or higher. If you set display
	  color settings less than High Color, the color of ink in the printer maybe displayed
	  white color with this utility.
  
  3.3 While you use this tool by remote PC connection, please connect after power on remote
	  PC and do not power off the remote PC. Please install printer driver or UPOS to your PC.
  
  3.4 You cannot print from the other software while you change the settings of printer.
  
  3.5 If EpsonNet SDK for Windows Ver.1.0h or later is not installed, this tool shows the
	  error message when stating this tool. Please re-install this tool.
	  Also, if EpsonNet SDK for Windows is uninstalled, please re-install this tool.
  
  3.6 If you use Windows XP SP2 or later, Windows Vista or Windows 7/8, when this tool is 
	  launched at first time, the operating system may show [Windows Security Alert].
	  Then, please select [Unblock]. If you selected [Keep Blocking], it is not possible
	  to communicate with the printer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
