User guide for driver installation
(1) Windows 98/98SE/Me
1) Plug the USB To Ethernet Adapter into USB connector of PC,
Windows 98(Me) prompts "New Hardware Found" window.
2) This "Add New Hardware Wizard" window means that Windows 98(Me) will
search a suitable driver for the USB To Ethernet Adapter.
Just click "Next" button.
3) Windows 98(Me) prompts you to decide the way of driver installation. Choose
"Search for the best driver for your device" and then click "Next"
button.
4) Insert driver diskette to floppy, and choose "Specify a location",
and type in "A:", then click "Next" button.
5) Windows 98(Me) finds the driver of the USB To Ethernet Adapter,
click "Next" button.
6) Windows 98(Me) prompts you to locate the device driver "NETU2E.INF" file,
type in A:, then click "OK".
7) Wait for Windows 98(Me) finishes installing the software for the
"USB To Ethernet Adapter", click "Finish".
8) Windows 98(Me) prompts you to restart your computer, click "Yes" to finish
driver installation.
(2) Windows 2000
1) Plug the USB To Ethernet Adapter into USB connector of PC,
Windows 2000 prompts "Found New Hardware" windows for
"USB-Ethernet"
2) This "Found New Hardware Wizard" window means that Windows 2000 will
help you install a device driver for "USB-Ethernet". Just click
"Next" button.
3) Windows 2000 prompts you to decide the way of driver installation.
Choose "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommend)", and
then click "Next" button.
4) Insert driver diskette to floppy, and choose "Floppy disk drivers",
then click "Next" button.
5) Windows 2000 prompts the driver of the "USB-Ethernet" found at
a:\NETU2E.INF, click "Next" button.
6) Windows 2000 prompts you about the Digital Sigature Not Found, do not
care about this, just click "Yes" button to continue.
7) Windows 2000 prompts you that Windows has finished installing the
software for USB To Ethernet Adapter. Click "Finish" button.
8) Now you have USB To Ethernet Adapter driver installed.
(3) Windows XP
1) Plug the USB To Ethernet Adapter into USB connector of PC,
Windows XP prompts " Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard " dialog box for
" USB Device "
2) This " Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard " dialog box means that Windows XP will
help you install a device driver for " USB Device ". Just click "Next" button.
3) Windows XP prompts you to decide the way of driver installation.
Choose " Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) ", and
then click "Next" button.
4) Select " Don't search.I will choose the driver to install. " , click "Next" button
-> " Have Disk " , click "Next" button .Windows XP prompts the driver of the
" USB Device " found at < a:\NETU2E.INF > , click "Next" button.
5) Windows XP prompts you about the Digital Sigature Not Found, do not
care about this, just click " Continue Anyway " button to continue.
6) Windows XP prompts you that Windows has finished installing the
software for USB To Ethernet Adapter. Click "Finish" button.
7) Now you have USB To Ethernet Adapter driver installed.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
