Prerequisites for using DriverInst: - Close skylite - There is an 'Installer_parameters.xml' file in the same directory as DriverInst.exe - There is a 'Drivers' directory in the same directory as DriverInst.exe Command line options: -r : uninstall drivers from system -s : Silent Mode; no UI -w : Wait on hardware wizard to finish before returning -phww : Bypass the new hardware wizard running check -xml=xxx.xml : specify an xml file to use to orveride the default value of installer_parameters.xml -pid=XXXX...[,XXXX...] : to install a specific device drivers identified by PID value of XXXX (minimum of 4 bytes) -ndis620 : Install NDIS 6.20 drives on Windows 7 machines -noloc : Do not install location driver for Windows 7 machines -rs : Uninstall the driver from system and them rescan the devices -dis=XXXX...[,XXXX...] : to disable before install/Uninstall and then reenable a specific device identified by PID value of XXXX (minimum of 4 bytes) -ed : Disable and then Enable all the device on the system which are in the device list provided, No Driver installation Usage example: C:>DriverInst C:>DriverInst -xml=HSPA_devices.xml C:>DriverInst -pid=68A2,68C0 //This will install drivers for generic 9x15 Devices only Post-affects: - logging is available in application data (Creates an 'Driver_Installer.txt' file with installation details) Note for 64-bit machines: Always launch DriverInst.exe and not DriverInst64.exe on 64-bit machines. This is because DriverInst.exe detects what OS (32/64 bit) it is running on and automatically launches DriverInst64.exe if a 64-bit OS is detected. Troubleshooting: If you notice any problems after running DriverInst to install drivers for your device, try running DriverInst with the uninstall option ('-r') before running it again to re-install your drivers.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
