                    ISWTrns Ver3.40E for KyoceraMita

<Introduction>
 This program is to rewrite a copier program using a Windows installed PC.
 Please refer to the following explanation as to installation procedures and 
 directions.

<Operation environment>
 Hardware	: IBM PC-AT interchangeable machine
 OS		: Windows95,Windows98,WindowsMe,WindowsNT4.0,Windows2000,WindowsXP

<Model>
 Vi7360, KM8530

<Preparation>
 PC parallel port setting
  * Set the parallel port setting of BIOS setting on PC to "Normal" or "Bi-Diresct"
    If this setting is set to "ECP mode", program can not be rewritten.
    (Initial setting of the PC may be "ECP mode".)
  * To check the BIOS setting in parallel port, follow the procedure below.
   1. Open control panel from WINDOWS 95/98 Start menu, "Setting".
   2. Double click on "System".
   3. Click on the tab "Device manager" and then double click on "Port".
   4. Ensure that printer port is set to "Printer port (LPT1)".  If it is set 
      to "ECP printer port (LPT1)", it is necessary to follow the procedure below 
      to change the setting.
  * Parallel port setting differs in each PC.  Normally, parallel port setting 
    is in BIOS setting.  For details, please refer to the User's manual attached 
    to the PC.
     EX. * Power ON while pressing key (ESC, CTRL+ALT+ESC, F1, F2, SPACE, or DEL).
         * Power ON after setting up the attached BIOS set up disk
         * Setting from Windows "Start menu", "setting menu by manufacturer" in "Program".

<Installation procedure>
 1. As Setup.exe is included in the Disk1 folder, execute it.
 2. Follow the instructions on screen for installation.
    (Please refer to the SHB for details.)

<Command>
 1. Option
  * Option:	Compose folder automatically for each model.
		Copies file automatically to each file by model.
 2. Help
  * Version(ISWTrns):	Indicates Version information.

<How to rewrite program>
 1. Copy desired program data which you like to rewrite to PC.
 2. Start ISWTrns from "Program" in "Start menu".
 3. Select "Option" from Option menu in ISWTrans.
 4. When ISWTrans is started for the first time, " Default Data Folder is not 
    selected. Please select folder" will be displayed.  When it is displayed, 
    press "Folder" to make default data folder.
 5. Press "Data copy".  As file copy screen will be displayed, select the 
    file from the folder of which the program is saved.  After pressing "File 
    Copy" button, the data is copied in the default data folder.
    When copying manually, copy bin file and sum file to the same folder.
 6. Select conditions in order of Machine, Country, Board, and division, 
    method, then select a file you would like to send from the version selection 
    table.
 7. Press "File Check" button and confirm "OK" is displayed on a sent file 
    information table.
 8. After making the machine in a data receiving status, press "File Send".  
    As the confirmation screen is displayed, press "OK".

 (Note) After sending the data from PC, rewriting procedure may continue 
        on the copier side.  Make sure to turn OFF/ON the copier after message 
        "rewriting finished" is displayed.
