The firmware Upgrade Procedure for WR104K 1.09 firmware

1. Download the new firmware on c:\wr104k.
2. Start the browser, open the configuration page, click on Others, 
and click Firmware Upgrade to 

2. Enter the Firmware Upgrade window. Enter the new firmware's path and file name 
(C:\wr104k\wb1530_fw.BIN). Or, click the Browse button, find and open the 
firmware file (the browser will display to correct file path).

3. Click UPGRADE NOW to start the upgrade. 

4. After the upload processabove is finished, you will see a special web page.
Enter the new firmware's path and file name (C:\wr104k\wr104k_109.BIN). 
Or, click the Browse button, find and open the 
firmware file (the browser will display to correct file path).

5. Click UPGRADE NOW to start the upgrade.

Note: When uploading software to the Model WR104K gateway, 
it is important not to interrupt the Web browser by closing 
the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. 
If the browser is interrupted, it may corrupt the software. 
When the upload is complete, your gateway will automatically restart.

If possible, DO NOT upgrade using a wireless connection. 
(It's OK to download the file wirelessly.)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
