                Microsoft Windows XP Installation
                  for CardBus Fast Ethernet Card


  Follow the steps to install the CardBus Fast Ethernet driver:

    1. Start your PC, then insert the CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card
       into an available PC Card slot in your PC .

    2. "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box should appear and
        the Ethernet Controller will be detected automatically,
        then the Windows displays the message

            "Ethernet Controller"

    3. Insert the CardBus Fast Ethernet Driver diskette into any available
       floppy drives. Select the "Install from a list or specific location
       (Advanced)" item.

    4. Click the Next button in the Found New Hardware Wizard window. Choose
       "Search removable media(floppy, CD-ROM...)" item and press Next button
       again.

    5. WinXP will start to search the removable media for a matched INF file
       with the card.

    6. Have system found the matched INF file in your removable media, the
       WinXP should display a appropriate product name according to the matched
       INF file. Then choose Continue Anyway and system will start copying the
       driver.

    7. Click Finish button, restart your computer and you card is working.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
