========================================================= Remove Old Modem Driver to install new one from floppy. ========================================================= Note: If you had ever installed old modem driver before, please remove it and install new modem driver from floppy. The procedure is as follows: 1. Click on the [Start] button. Select [Settings] and go to [Control Panel]. 2. Double click on the [System] button. 3. Click on the [Device Manager]. 4. Double click on the device [Sound, vedio and game controllers]. 5. If you see the device [Voice Device for Voice Modem], please select it and click [Remove] button. Then click [OK] to remove it. 6. Double click on the device [Modem]. 7. If you see the device [Rockwell Voice Modem] or another modem modem, please select it and click [Remove] button. Then click [OK] to remove it. 8. Click on the [Start] button. Select [Programs] and go to [Windows Explorer]. 9. Go to [View] and select [Options]. 10. Select [Show all files] and click [OK]. 11. If you can not see the directory "C:\Windows\Inf\Other", your Windows 95 is A version. Otherwise, your Windows 95 is B (OSR2) version 11-1. If in Windows 95 A version: Please go to the directory "C:\Windows\Inf" and delete all the files "Oem*.inf". ( "*" is the number "0","1","2",.... ) 11-2. If in Windows 95 B (OSR2) version: Please go to the directory "C:\Windows\Inf\Other" and delete all files. 12. Please remove driver CD from CD-ROM drive and restart your computer. And see the user manual to install new modem driver from floppy or another location. ( Note: Make sure the driver CD is not in the CD-ROM drive, because the driver CD contain the old modem driver )Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
