Start Windows and exit all other applications. * You must be logged in as an administrator in order to install Multi-Function Station. * If the unit is connected to the computer before installing Multi-Function Station, the [Driver Software Installation] dialog box will appear. Click [Close] to close it. 2. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. * The [Select Language] dialog box will appear. Select the desired language that you want to use with this software from the list. Click [OK]. The setup menu will appear. * If the [Select Language] dialog box does not appear: The setup menu will appear. * If the setup menu does not appear: Execute [Install] directly from the CD-ROM. The setup menu will appear. 3. Click [Easy Installation], the setup program starts. Then follow the on-screen instructions. 4. After the [Connection Type] dialog box appeared, select the connecting option. USB: Connect the unit with the USB cable after the [Connect Device] dialog box appeared. * If the unit is connected to your computer, the model name will be automatically detected. Network (Network connection models only): Select the unit in the LAN from the list. 5. Click [Install]. <Troubleshooting for installation / uninstallation> Some of the files needed to install or uninstall Multi-Function Station may be corrupted. Use the MfsCleaner utility (found on the supplied CD-ROM) to solve the problem. You must be logged in as an administrator in order to use MfsCleaner. 1. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. * The setup program will start automatically. 2. [Tools] -> [Cleanup Tool] 3. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
