                   LAN Driver install guide
                  -----------------------------------

  For Windows XP


  Please follow the following steps to install your driver!

    1.  Click Start, then Control Panel.

    2.  Click "Switch to classic view" then duble click "system" item.

    3.  Select the "Hardware" page, press the "Device Manager" button.

    4.  Click "Network adapters, then double click "SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"
        ,select "Driver" page,click "Update Driver" button

    5.  Select "install from a list specific location(Advanced) then press "Next".

    6.  Select "Don't search I will choose the driver to install" , then click "Next" 
        button ,then click "Have Disk" then press  "Browse.." button , find the Lan driver,
        ex:D:\Lan\winXP\ , then click "Next" button
        Note:if your CD-ROM is Drive D in your system
    
    7.  Then a pop menu show , select " SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"
        , then click "Next" button
    7.  If it shows "Digital Signature Not Found" ,then ask do you want to continue the 
        installation ?, click "continue anway".     

    8.  Then press "Finish".

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
