1.引言 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

imagePROGRAF Status Monitor是监控打印机状态和管理打印作业的软件公用程序。
imagePROGRAF Status Monitor包含两个画面：“Printer List”列出了所有的打印机，
“Status Monitor”则显示每一台打印机的具体详细资料。

imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager自动同步打印机内的墨盒类型和打印机驱动程序的
墨盒信息。
关于停止imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager的更多信息，请在Windows开始按钮中选择
程序，打开imagePROGRAF Status Monitor中的Device Agent Manager，
然后查阅帮助文件。

3. 安装时的注意事项 -----------------------------------------------------------

- 有关安装和卸载步骤的更多详情，请参阅用户手册。

- 在安装或卸载之前，请务必关闭所有的软件应用程序。
  imagePROGRAF Status Monitor正在运行时，不能进行安装或卸载。

- 卸载后，安装目录仍可能存在。
  如果不由imagePROGRAF Status Monitor管理的安装目标文件夹内存在文件，
  这些文件和文件夹不会被删除。

- 为了安装打印机驱动程序，必须以网络管理员身份登录Windows。


4. 注意事项、局限性和限制 -----------------------------------------------------

使用该软件时请注意下面的局限性。

- 要使用imagePROGRAF Status Monitor或imagePROGRAF Device Agent Manager，
  必须解除Windows防火墙功能中对相关软件的限制。有关Windows防火墙功能的详情，
  请参阅Windows帮助文件或Windows手册。

- 当多个用户以相同的用户名登录时，可能无法在终端服务器上正确运行imagePROGRAF 
  Status Monitor。

- 对于通过本地连接端口连接的打印机，不能打开一个以上的Status Monitor。

- 共享打印机不能打开Status Monitor。

- 对于通过网络连接的打印机，如果打开一个以上的Status Monitor，则即使打印机的状
  态发生变化，这一变化也可能不会同时反映在打开的所有Status Monitor中。

- 当从Printer List中的“TCP/IP”或“NetWare”模式显示中检测到打印机的
  Status Monitor时，如果取消打印作业，则只有该打印机内的打印作业被删除。
  打印作业仍可能留在计算机中，因此需要手工删除这一数据。

- 不显示打印机内打印作业的大小。

- 如果试图获取电源关闭的IPP连接打印机的状态，imagePROGRAF Status Monitor可能会
  暂时停止工作。

- 对于使用IPv6连接的打印机，若要打开Status Monitor，则必须安装对应的打印机驱动
  程序。

- 要使用电子邮件通知功能，可能需要更改防病毒软件的设置。
  有关更改防病毒软件的设置的详情，请询问网络管理者或参考软件指南。

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
