Date: 25th July 2001 This utility update WL11 card to firmware v0.8.03 How to upgrade -------------- Before running this utility, WL11 must be installed in a notebook or desktop running MS Windows 98,Me or 2000. Complete the driver installation and check its up and running. then proceed to run the firmware update utility. You do not need to run or install the WL11 configuration utility to run this firmware update. 1) Click or double-click on Winupdate.exe to start. 2) To query the card current firmware version, click Query FW Version 3) To update to the version 0.8.03 click Update. Then click Update Now to write. 4) Quit when completed. Shutdown the desktop then remove the WL11 card. To remove WL11 card from notebook, stop the PC-Card service by clicking on the PCMCIA icon in the Windows system tray at the bottom-right. Then eject the card. Insert the WL11 card in NetPassage16 and power ON. When started, the LED light on WL11 will flashes continuosly indication the card is initialized and running. ---------------------------Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
