How to upgrade CGX3224 firmware 
-------------------------------

The firmware upgrade procedure has the following assumptions:
o - your CGX3224 switch has IP address 192.168.100.128 
o - your PC has IP address 192.168.100.xxx where xxx is any number between 2 and 254 (exclude 128)

If you have a different IP set for your router use that IP address instead.

   a) From PC, startup the web browser, e.g. MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher
      or Netscape 4.0x or higher.

   b) Type the IP address of the router in the address box of the browser.
      e.g. http://192.168.100.128
      The swtich web manager logon screen will appear.

   c) Enter your password to logon. By default switch password is password.

   d) On the right-hand side box of switch configuration screen goto System Tools 
      section and click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' option.

   e) Enter the drive, path and firmware name or click browse to search for the new 
      firmware file you have unzipped in your local hard disk.

   f) Click on the Upgrade button to start the upload.

   g) When completed, it will prompt you to reboot. Click Yes to reboot.
      It takes about 1 minute to reboot switch.

   h) To check switch is running the newer firmware, logon to switch again. 
      Go to Help Section and select 'System Information' 
      Firmware Version display should be new version and build number. 

   j) Congratulations ! You have successfully upgraded your router to the newer firmware.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
