The text file describes how to install the NDIS driver for use with 
Microsoft Windows NT Release 4.0 on the X86 platform.

   This installation assumed Windows NT is installed in C:\WINNT directory.

   1)  In the Main group of NT, choose the Control Panel icon.

   2)  In the Control Panel window, choose the Network icon.

   3)  In the Network Settings dialog box, click on ADAPTER option tab at the
       of the dialog box and click on ADD button.

   4)  In the Network Adapter box, click on HAVE DISK button
       
   5)  Insert this driver disk in drive A, enter A:\
       and then choose the OK button.

   6)  "Compex RL100TX/10Base PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter." appears in the box.
        Click OK
   
   7)  You are back to the Network Setting dialog box.
       Click on the the other tabs and make changes if necessary to customise
       your configurations like adding additional protocols, change or assign
       a name to the PC, etc.. refer to Windows NT 4.0 for details.

       Click OK and Windows NT will complete the rest of the installtion by
       copying and binding the select items.

   8)  Installation is completed.

   9)  Restart Windows NT and RL100TX is now ready to service.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
