NVIDIA Quadro VBIOS Update Readme

NOTE: This tool only works in Windows

This package will update the following list of boards to the correspoding VBIOS revision:
* K5000  -> 80.04.CA.00.04
* K4000  -> 80.06.53.00.0A
* K2000  -> 80.07.9B.00.23
* K600   -> 80.07.B1.00.08
* Q410   -> 80.07.AE.00.05
* NVS510 -> 80.07.AF.00.0D
* NVS310 -> 75.19.85.00.05

The package contains five files:
* VBIOS_updater.bat
* README.txt
* Version.txt
In the Payload folder, it contains:
* Quadro_VBIOS_update_Win_v2.exe
* nvflsh32.sys
* nvflsh64.sys

WARNING:
Please do not turn off the system or remove power during the flashing process.
Loss of video or permanent damage to the video card may result if this occurs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VBIOS update instructions:
1. Once the .zip file is extracted, navigate to find the VBIOS_updater.bat file and double-click to start the flashing process.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions after that.

3. The utility will search for appropriate boards and prompt the user to update the VBIOS 
on those that it finds a match for (options are: yes/skip/abort).

4. After all of the matching boards are updated the system will then notify the user and reboot.

5. If no matching boards are found, or the VBIOS is already at the revision in this package 
or higher, no flash will occur and the program will exit.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
