    EN-EPP is an enabler program which can enable Enhanced Parallel Port(EPP)
    or disable Enhanced Parallel Port. It can used as execution file or
    device driver.

 1. To run the EPP Enabler program as execution file

    Insert the ACCTON EtherPocket Hardware Driver Disk into drive A:,
    then type:

	       A:\> \EPP\EN-EPP     <Enter>

    If you want to disable the EPP mode, type


	       A:\> \EPP\EN-EPP U    <Enter>

	       [U]   This is an optional parameter that disable EPP mode


 2. To run the EPP Enabler program as device driver

    Add EN-EPP device driver before other network device driver
    in config.sys as follows:

      DEVICE=EN-EPP.EXE
      DEVICE=C:\LANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\PROTMAN\PROTMAN.DOS /i:C:\LANMAN.DOS
      DEVICE=C:\LANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ACCTON\ACCNE\ETHEP.DOS
      DEVICE=C:\LANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\PROTOCOL\NETBEUI\NETBEUI.DOS

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
