1. はじめに -------------------------------------------------------------------

本ソフトウェアは、複数のコンピューターに同じ印刷環境を簡単に構築するための、
プリンター管理者向けのツールです。

管理者は本ソフトウェアを使って、各コンピューターにインストールさせたいソフト
ウェアやソフトウェアの設定をもとにインストーラー（カスタムインストーラー）を
作成できます。

各コンピューターでは、このカスタムインストーラーを実行するだけで、カスタム
インストーラーに入っていたソフトウェアがインストールされ、ドライバーの
用紙情報、お気に入りなどが設定されます。

Canon、Canonロゴ、imagePROGRAFは、キヤノン株式会社の商標、または登録商標です。
Microsoft、Windowsは、米国Microsoft Corporationの米国およびその他の国における
登録商標です。

2. 使用環境  ------------------------------------------------------------------

本ソフトウェアは以下のシステムおよび環境でご使用ください。

     Microsoft Windows Server 2003 64ビット版 日本語版

     (注)
     ・本ソフトウェアは32ビット版のWindowsでは使用できません。
       32ビット版のWindowsをお使いの場合は、32ビット版のカスタムインストーラー
       作成ツールを使用してください。

・ハードウェア
     上記ソフトウェアが正常に動作するコンピューター
     推奨HDD空き容量: 200MB以上

・対象ソフトウェア
　　imagePROGRAF プリンタードライバー version 4.16以降
　　imagePROGRAF Status Monitor version 25.20以降
　　AutoCAD用プリンタドライバ最適化キット version 1.10以降

3. 使用上の注意 ---------------------------------------------------------------

- Administrator権限でWindowsにログオンする必要があります。

- カスタムインストーラーを作成するコンピューターにインストールしたプリンター
  ドライバーのお気に入りの名称に、以下の文字が含まれているときは、
  カスタムインストーラーは作成できません。以下の文字を含まない名称に変更して
  ください。
　　\/:*?"<>|

- ［インストール設定(任意)］ダイアログボックスで、［インストーラー実行時の
  ダイアログボックスを表示する］チェックボックスをオフにして作成した
  カスタムインストーラーは、サイレント(ダイアログボックスを表示しない)モードで
  実行されます。その場合、インストールの成否にかかわらず、いかなる画面も
  表示されません。

- AutoCAD用プリンタドライバ最適化キットv1.10をカスタムインストーラーに
  入れるとき、[ソフトウェアの指定]ダイアログボックスでは、バージョンが
  「1.1.0.0」と表示されます

- 作成したカスタムインストーラーを実行してインストールされるプリンター
  ドライバーは、Standard TCP/IPでインストールされます。

- [プリンタードライバーの選択]ダイアログボックスの[インストールされている
  プリンタードライバー一覧]には、共有プリンターは表示されません。
  共有プリンターに対し、カスタムインストーラーを作成することはできません。

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
