PCMCIA Ethernet Card Diagnostics file

Before you install the drivers and connect the 10/100 PCMCIA Ethernet Card 
to the network, make sure to run the diagnostics to assure the proper function 
of 10/100 PCMCIA Ethernet Card. The test is a series of tests designed to check
 
	1. EEPROM Content
	2. Registers Test
	3. MII Test
	4. RAM Buffer Test
	5. Internal Loopback Test
	6. Link Test

 To execute the Advanced Test:

	1. You must to run the initialization test first, once pass all
	   of check items in this test, please select the "Advanced Test".

	2. The Advanced test is consisting with two computers, one will
	   setup as a MASTER to send packet to the other computer, the 
	   other one will be setup as a SLAVE to check and reply the packet
	   to MASTER one.
		
	3. Check the result to make sure your 10/100 PCMCIA Ethernet adapter
	   is working properly before any installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
