Broadcom Corporation 5300 California Avenue, Irvine, CA 92617 Broadcom BCM57XX UEFI Diagnostics for x64 Instructions Introduction ============ This file describes the UEFI diagnostic tool for Broadcom's BCM57XX 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Network Interface Controller. This diagnostic tool is released as a UEFI EM64T (X64) application. The following executable file is part of the Broadcom BCM57XX UEFI Diagnostics release: b57diag64.efi: BCM57XX diagnostic for EM64T (X64) UEFI platform. Diagnostic Usage ================ For UEFI X64 using 'Boot from EFI File': 1. Select 'Boot from EFI File' from the EFI Boot Manager. 2. Select the removable media containing the b57diag64.efi file and then select b57diag64.efi from the file list. 3. To run in engineering mode create a DOS type batch file in the same directory called 'b57diag.bat' The contents of this file is the same as running b57diag from a batch file from DOS and specifying the command line switches. (eg. 'b57diag64.efi -b57eng'). Note: This batch file will not execute from a UEFI shell. Note: All the diagnostic files (including support files) must be located in the root directory of the removable media. For UEFI X64 from the EFI Shell: 1. Boot to or load the UEFI X64 shell. At the UEFI shell command line type: "b57diag64.efi" 2. To run in engineering mode at the command line type: "b57diag64.efi -b57eng" 3. To get help on the b57diag64 options type: "b57diag64.efi -help" at the command line. Note: To run all the standard diagnostic tests, the .bin support files must be present in the same directory.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
