- Changes are done in Setup, Uninstall and PCIPorts.dll 
  to support localization of strings that appear on 
  the GUI.
  Now they can show different language strings in 
  different language operating systems. 
- These changes cover VISTA, XP 32 bit and 64 bit 
  operating systems.

Note:
------- 
- Since PCIPorts.dll (property page) is modified, Windows XP 
  is displaying a message "The software you are installing 
  for this HW not passed Windows Logo Testing" message.
  (Though it shows in the device manager as digitally signed). 
  Such behavior is not seen in VISTA operating system and 
  installs silently.

   when PC returns from Stand By or Hybernate mode

1) Toshiba fix we made in driver is causing the 
   system hang issue when the port is in DMA mode.
   This issue is resolved by running the loop back 
   test in 450 mode (No FIFO mode)

1) Hardware Initialization code path which we made 
   in the version 1.0.0.2 causing system hang issue 
   when the port is open in RS422/485 modes. This 
   issue resolved by keeping the Hardware Initialization 
   code and loop back test at the end of serial open 
   sequence.

1) Added a 1 byte loop back test, this loop back 
   will be invoked whenever there is a change in 
   LCR data bits.
2) Hardware Initialization code path is modified 
   to accommodate the above loop back test in

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
