PageMaster 2400c Electronic Library CD-ROM DRIVERS folder - DRIVERS.TXT ----- This folder contains printer driver software designed for your PageMaster 2400c. This document describes the contents of each DRIVERS folder on this CD-ROM. ----- FOLDER CONTENTS o Win31 folder This folder contains PostScript (PS) Windows 3.1 printer driver your PageMaster 2400c. The PS folder inside this folder contains the English AdobePS 3.1 printer driver and PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer. Refer to README.WRI, in this folder, for more information on installing these files and AdobePS 3.1. There is only an English PostScript printer driver for your PageMaster 2400c. There is no PCL printer driver provided for Windows 3.1 systems. o Win95 folder This folder contains PCL Windows 95 printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c. The PCL folder contains folders for Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano Microsoft PCL printer drivers for your printer. To install the appropriate printer driver, use the Add Printer wizard in the Printers folder of your Windows 95 system. o Win98 folder This folder contains PCL Windows 98 printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c. The PCL folder contains folders for Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano Microsoft PCL printer drivers for your printer. To install the appropriate printer driver, use the Add Printer wizard in the Printers folder of your Windows 98 system. o Wnt_351 folder This folder contains PostScript (PS) Windows NT 3.51 printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c. You can install these printer drivers by selecting "Create Printer..." in the Windows NT 3.51 Print Manager. The PS folder contains folders Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano language drivers for your printer. Each one of these folders contains the Pscript printer driver and PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer. There are no PCL printer drivers provided for Windows NT 3.51 systems. o Wnt_40 folder This folder contains PostScript (PS) and PCL Windows NT 4.0 printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c.. The PS folder contains folders for Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano language drivers for your printer. Each one of these folders contains the AdobePS 5.1.1 printer driver and PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer. Refer to the language appropriate README.TXT, in its folder, for more information on installing these files and AdobePS 5.1.1. Note that you must run SETUP.EXE to install this printer driver. This printer driver includes AdobePS 5.1.1. to support alternate printer driver installation for Windows NT server systems that have Windows 95 or Windows 98 clients. The PCL folders contain folders for language Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano Microsoft PCL printer driver for your printer. To install one of these printer drivers, use the Add Printer Wizard in the Printers folder of your Windows NT 4.0 system. o Win_xp folder This folder contains PCL Windows XP printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c. The PCL folders contain folders for language Deutsch, Español, English, Francais, and Italiano Microsoft PCL printer driver for your printer. o Win_2k folder This folder contains PCL Windows 2000 NT printer driver files for your PageMaster 2400c. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
