PANTONE (R) Digital Color Libraries for X-Rite ColorMail Express (500-Series) This document contains information about the PANTONE Guides for use with X-Rite models 528 and 530 in conjunction with X-Rite ColorMail(R) Express software. You are licensed to use them as outlined in the license agreement for this product. Please familiarize yourself with this information before using the Guides with your software. PANTONE C 2005.CMX, PANTONE U 2005.CMX, PANTONE M 2005.CMX These files contain the spectral data, color names and lithographic ink mixing formulas for 1,124 solid PANTONE colors, based on the Third Edition 2005 PANTONE Color Formula Guides. One file exists for each paper stock, PANTONE C 2005 is the coated stock, PANTONE U 2005 is the uncoated stock, and PANTONE M 2005 is the matte stock. The data is based on measurements with an X-Rite 900-Series Spectrodensitometer by PANTONE on master versions of these guides. The files contain color names which are abbreviated to fit on the X-Rite 500-Series display, as approved by PANTONE to comply with Trademarks and Copyrights. Ink formulas are included in these 3 guides, and are presented as a ratio in whole numbers to four digits (no decimal), based on the percentages contained in the PANTONE guide. Example: PANTONE 346 C has a formula of: 15.6 parts PANTONE Pro. Blue 9.4 parts PANTONE Yellow 75.0 parts PANTONE Trans.Wt. In the X-Rite 528 or 530, 346 C will be displayed as: 1560 Pro. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
