System Requirements
===================
Hardware:
* Video-in devices, like CCD, Hi-8 or USB camera, which support UYVY, YUY2 or
I420 pixel formats.
* A sound card or a sound chip embeded in the motherboard is necessary if you want to use play the warning wave file.
Software:
* Microsoft 2000 Pro/XP with DirectX 9.c or above.
* ASUS WDM capture driver for ASUS VGA card deluxe version ,
or WDM capture driver for your other video-in devices.
* Internet Connection (if you want to use E-mail notification or remote surveillance )
* Microsoft Media Player 9.0 or above

Using ASUS Video Security

* To execute ASUS Video Security, please run :
"C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS VideoSecurity\VideoSecurity.exe"
Assume Windows95/98 is installed on drive "C".
or Click "Start"->"Program"->"ASUS"->"ASUS VideoSecurity"->"Video Security"

Uninstall ASUS Video Security

* To uninstall ASUS Video Security, please click
"Start"->"Program"->"ASUS"->"ASUS VideoSecurity"->"Uninstall"
It will remove all registry entries and programs
* To uninstall Video Security Components, please enter control panel and click
"Add/Remove Program", then select "Video security Components" item to remove.

Limitation
====================
* While using CCDs, the high temperature and luminance sensibility often cause
the image of some CCDs distorted, which might result in erroneous detection.
* If the features (e.g. color, luminance¡K) of the object are much similar with
that of the background, the object might not be detected.
* The CCD cannot capture the object smoothly and immediately if the object moves
too fast.
* Although Video Security is intentionally designed to work across all hardware
platforms, currently it can only process the folowing pixel formats; UYVY, YUY2,
and I420.
* If you have any problem with history viewing, please update Microsoft Data
Access Component from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm.
* Due to limitation of Video Mixing Renderer in Win2000, VideoSecurity3500 doesn't support
user defined motion detection and tracing in Win2000.
* VideoSecurity doesn't support 256 color,
so we suggest that users should run the program under 16-bit color environment or above.
* Logitech doesn't support 64-bit webcam drivers now.

Known Issues
====================
* For Windows 98 or older version, we have to update your Microsoft Data Access
Component at least up to 2.5. Thus, when installing Video Security, if your MDAC
needs to update, we'll try to upgrade your MDAC, but when it processes to complete
the installation, it needs your confirmation to reboot the system, and you click
"Yes", your PC might hang.
* If you insert two USB devices in the same USB module port, it sometimes has problem due to power supply.
So we suggest you insert them in the different USB module port.

1) Enable "Delay detecting for",then start detecting,
there will popup a window to let user to click it first time.The instance conduces
"Delay detecting for" function can't genuine react.The window should be removed.
2) Set the value of "Detectiong interval" to 3,but it will become 4 after starting detect.
3) Select the second option "Tracing" Under the "Mode", fill in number 0 to the second option:
Stop tracing when the target stays still for _ seconds.",it will show an error message:
"please fill in number 1 at least".But in the help file,it seems to be ok if set the value to "0".

4) Enable "leave the detecting mode whenever the number of conditions reaches __ times",then start detecting,
the last picture just be recorded after click "OK" in the popup-window "the total of conditions exceeds...".
If set the "Window style" to "always on top",the popup-window will behind the main-window,
and if close the main-window before click the popup-window,the last picture won't be recorded and
will popup an error message:"VideoSecurity has encountered a problem..."
5) Enable "Always on top",then start detecting,there will popup a window to let user to click it first time.
But the UI will estop the window.The window should be removed.
6) Enable "Delay detecting for" and set some seconds(for example:50),start detecting,the program will hang 50 seconds.
And there isn't any suggestive message.
7) In the "Main Setting",choose the option "Autorun detect when program run" ,
and choose the option "Minimized as a tray icon" under the "Window Style".Click "start",
it will detect as a minimized window style,but the UI will popup when detecting.
8) Select the second option "Tracing" Under the "Mode", fill in number 0 to the second option:

"please fill in number 1 at least".But in the help file,it seems to be ok if set the value to "0".

Download Driver Pack
