Identification 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click the Performance and Maintenance icon. 3. In the Performance and Maintenance window, click the System icon. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, double-click Sound, video and game controllers. 6. If ATI Unified AVStream is listed under Sound, video and game controllers, this is the correct driver. Note: If ATI Unified AVStream is listed under Other devices, review your computer invoice to verify the part number. Installation Download the ATITV1066.exe file to the desktop, and then perform the following steps. 1. On the desktop, double-click the ATITV1066.exe file. The files automatically extract to the C:\Cabs\ATITV1066 folder on your hard drive. 2. From the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\ATITV1066\Setup.exe. Click OK. 3. In the ATI WDM Setup dialog box, click Next. 4. Files copy. 5. Installation is complete. In the ATI WDM Setup dialog box, verify that Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected, and then click Finish. Removal The drivers can only be removed under the Drivers tab for the Device Properties in the Device Manager. The drivers are automatically reinstalled upon restarting the computer or executing the scan for devices in the Device Manager. These drivers are required for Windows Media Center functionality. Removal of the drivers is not recommended. Troubleshooting If you have difficulty installing the new driver, download the file again, and then perform the installation steps. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
