Windows XP (You may simply remove the C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\WildPackets and open again) The steps below will cover a complete uninstall and removal of any trace of WildPackets and reinstall a clean version of OmniPeek. If you have custom filters, graphs, etc. please back them up from the following directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\WildPackets\OmniPeek Then do the following: 1) Uninstall OmniPeek using Add/Remove Programs 2) Delete C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\WildPackets 3) Delete C:\Program Files\WildPackets 4) Delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\WildPackets After opening regedit, highlight Computer, go to Edit->Find, type in WildPackets and click Find Next. Delete the first WildPackets line and from there hit F3 then delete any other line you find WildPackets in until there are no more. Reboot the machine. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
