READ ME - Zoom DualCam 1300 (Model 1599) Driver

INTRODUCTION

Accompanying this ReadMe is a Setup.exe file that contains the camera driver for the Zoom DualCam 1300 Model 1599.


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS	

- Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000 or XP operating system
- Available USB port


INSTALLTION

To install the camera driver, follow these steps:

1. If you have not already done so, uplug the camera from the computer.

2. Double-click Setup.exe.  The InstallShield program launches and will guide you through the installation.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. When the installation is finished, plug in the camera. 

4. The New Hardware Wizard appears.  Make sure the "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" radio button is selected and click Next.  There is no CD or floppy disk to load.  

Windows 2000 Users:  You may see the Digital Signature Not Found dialog box. You can safely ignore this message and click Yes.

Windows XP Users:  You may see a standard disclaimer dialog box regarding Windows logo testing. You can safely disregard this message and click Continue Anyway. Then click Finish. 
   
That's it!  Now you may use the camera with your desired application.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
