SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
These terms and conditions explain each party's rights and obligations under this
Agreement. We believe they are fair and reasonable. Please read them carefully.
If there is anything you do not understand or do not agree with, please ask.
This cartridge contains software provided to you by SyQuest ("SyQuest Software")
and by corporate partners ("SyQuest Partners") of SyQuest ("Partners Software")
[the SyQuest Software and the Partners Software is sometimes referred to together
as the "Software"].
The SyQuest Software consists of SyQuest Operating System Software and SyQuest
Utility Software. The Partners Software and the providing SyQuest Partner on this
cartridge is listed in the READ1ST file.
Any use of this cartridge other than to review this Software License Agreement
constitutes your acceptance of and agreement with the terms of this Software
License Agreement with respect to the SyQuest Software. If you do not accept
and agree to these terms, you must return the full product with proof of purchase
to your dealer within 30 days for a full refund. Any installation or use of any
version of Partners Software constitutes your acceptance of and agreement with
the terms of this Software License Agreement with respect to their software.
If you do not accept and agree to these terms with respect to any Partners
Software, but accept and agree to them with respect to the SyQuest Software,
you must delete such Partners Software from this cartridge.
GRANT OF LICENSE: SyQuest grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable (except
herein provided) license to use the SyQuest Software and any or all of the Partners
Software on a single personal computer at a time if it is attached to a SyQuest
brand cartridge disk drive. You may copy the SyQuest Utility Software and/or
Partners Software to other SyQuest brand cartridges for use with this personal
computer, to any one hard disk drive of this personal computer, and to the main
memory of this personal computer, provided that you reproduce all copyright and
trademark notices, restricted rights legends, and other proprietary markings.
RESTRICTIONS: Except as expressly provided above, you may not copy, sublicense,
rent, or lease the Software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble,
modify, translate or create derivative works of the Software.
LIMITED WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. SYQUEST MAKES NO
WARRANTY AS TO ANY SOFTWARE, WHICH IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED.
SYQUEST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTION CONTAINED IN THE
SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE SOFTWARE
WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.
SyQuest's sole and exclusive liability for any and all losses and damages arising
out of any cause whatsoever shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the
SyQuest product purchased.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT SHALL SYQUEST BE LIABLE FOR ANY
DAMAGES, WHETHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY,
COLLATERAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY,
BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY
ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCT, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION, LOSS OF USE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR SAVINGS;
OR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, DATA FILES, INFORMATION,
OR PROGRAMS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN STORED IN OR USED IN THE
PRODUCT OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER
PRODUCT. SYQUEST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF RETRIEVING
OR REPLACING LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA, INFORMATION, OR PROGRAMS.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO OTHER
WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, STATUTORY, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Some states and countries (such as the United Kingdom) do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts; therefore the above exclusion or limitation may not apply
to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights which vary state to state and country to country.
EXPORT LAW ASSURANCES: You acknowledge and agree that the SyQuest Software
is subject to restrictions and controls imposed by the United States Export
Administration Act (the "Act") and the regulations thereunder. You agree and
certify that neither the Software nor any direct product thereof is being or
will be acquired, shipped, transferred or re-exported, directly or indirectly,
into any country, or used for any purpose, except as authorized by the Act
and the regulations.
U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS: The SyQuest Software and
documentation are commercial computer software and are provided with restricted
rights. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the United States Government is subject
to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data
and Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2)
of Commercial Computer Software--Restricted Rights at FAR 52.227-19, as applicable.

GENERAL: This Software License Agreement will be governed by the laws of the
State of California, except for what body of law dealing with conflicts of law.
This Software License Agreement will be terminated automatically without notice
if you fail to comply with any of its provisions. Upon termination, you will destroy
all copies of the SyQuest Software and all documentation. If any provision of this
Software License Agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full
force and effect. This Software License Agreement is the entire agreement between
you and SyQuest. It supersedes any other understandings, communications or
advertisements with respect to the SyQuest Software and documentation. Should you

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
