STEPS TO INSTALL SyQuest SparQ EPP Driver under WINDOWS NT 4.0

1.  Click Start button
2.  Select Settings and move to Control Panel
3.  Click once on Control Panel
4.  Double click on SCSI Adapters icon
5.  Select the Drivers tab
6.  Click once on the Add button
7.  Wait until it finishes Creating Driver List 
8.  Click once on the Have Disk button
9.  Make sure A:\ displays in the window
10.  Insert diskette with the files
11.  Click on the OK button
12.  Click once to highlight SyQuest Parallel Port Driver
13.  Click on the OK button
14.  Type A:\ in the window and click on the Continue button
15.  Click Yes to restart your system



STEPS TO INSTALL SyQuest SparQ EPP Driver under WINDOWS NT 3.51

1.  Double click on the Main group icon
2.  Double click on the Windows NT Setup icon
3.  Click on Options pull down menu
4.  Scroll down and click on Add/Remove SCSI Adapters
5.  Click on the Add button
6.  Click on the OK button in the Setup Message display
7.  Click on the down arrow button to display more options
8.  Search and select Other (Requires a disk from a hardware manufacturer)
9.  Make sure A:\ displays in the window
10.  Insert diskette with the files
11.  Click on the OK button
12.  Click on the OK button to accept the highlighted SyQuest Parallel Port Driver
13.  Click on the Install button
14.  Click on the Continue button (Make sure A:\ displays in the window)
15.  Click on the Close button
16.  Reboot your system for the new driver to take effect

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
