NOTE:
*This driver can be used ONLY with the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini
PCI Adapter (802.11b). Do not attempt to use this installer with any other
Wireless LAN Adapter.
*When using the Intel Proset Utility for WPA, do not install the Microsoft
Windows XP Support Patch for Wireless Protected Access, Q815485.
This Patch is not needed.
*To perform these steps on Windows XP/2000 systems, you will need to log on
with administrator privileges.
*WEP icon is wrong with ConfigFree Connectivity Doctor, when the wireless
zero configuration service on Windows XP is disabled.
1.Updating Intel Wireless LAN Driver
(1) Windows XP
1) Download calexico_wpa_xp.exe.
2) Double click calexico_wpa_xp.exe. The Information window opens. Click
"OK" after reading the information.
3) WinZip Self-Extractor starts. Then click "Setup".
4) A message appears which tells you to restart your PC when the
installation has finished. Click "Restart Now" and reboot OS.
Wireless LAN driver update is finished.
(2) Windows 2000
1) Download calexico_wpa_2k.exe.
2) Double click calexico_wpa_2k.exe. The Information window opens. Click
"OK" after reading the information.
3) WinZip Self-Extractor starts. Then click "Setup".
4) A message appears which tells you to restart your PC when the
installation has finished. Click "Restart Now" and reboot OS.
Wireless LAN driver update is finished.
2.Updating Intel Proset Utility
(1) Windows XP
1) Download proset_wpa_2k.exe
2) Double click proset_wpa_xp.exe. WinZip Self-Extractor starts. Then
click "Setup".
3) "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Intel(R) PROSet for Wireless"
window appears, click "Next".
4) "License Agreement" window, read the license agreement and click "I
accept the terms in the license agreement". Then click "Next".
5) "Setup Type" window appears, select "Typical" and click "Next".
6) "Ready to Install the Program" window appears, click "Install".
7) "InstallShield Wizard Completed" window appears, click "Finish".
Wireless LAN Utility update is finished.
(2) Windows 2000
1) Download proset_wpa_2k.exe
2) Double click proset_wpa_2k.exe. WinZip Self-Extractor starts. Then
click "Setup".
3) "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Intel(R) PROSet for Wireless"
window appears, click "Next".
4) "License Agreement" window, read the license agreement and click "I

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
