3. NEW IN THIS RELEASE

3.1 Version 1.38 Spring 2001

   - Re-design of the Network Topology dialog.
   - Add two new Internet connection types: ADSL (PPPoE)
     and LAN Infrastructure.
   - Encryption key can contain ASCII values.
   - Settings of an Internet connection can be returned to
     default.
   - Renaming 'RG ID' into 'RG network name'.
   - New entered encryption key and RG Setup Utility
password values are displayed as ASCII instead of
     stars.
   - Bug fix:
Problem Cannot configure the RG when it has the IP
address 153.69.254.254 (can be caused when
the RG is in bridge mode).
Solution When the RG Setup Utility encounters the
above IP address it changes that address to
a temporary new address, that will make the
               RG configurable again.

3.1 Version 1.24 Winter 2001

      * Access Control Table for Japan only.
      * Supports USB connection.
      * Set a fixed IP address with no restrictions when
        NAT is disabled.
      * Set a DNS address when the IP address is assigned
        automatically.
      * To avoid that unauthorized users can modify the RG
settings, this version allows the user to enable a
password that must be entered before the RG
        settings will be displayed.
      * The temporary configuration file is deleted from
the disk when the setup session is done.
      * The "Soft Reload" function is extended. The
Encryption Key is set to the default value and the
Password is disabled automatically with the RG
        Setup Utility.
      * 'Close button' added in the about box.
      * Layout improvement in the ISP parameter screen.
      * New RG online help.
      * DHCP client on telephone line port is removed.
