To perform authentication with the Kerberos server, adjust the time of the MFP to match that of the server. If you have an SNTP server, you can automatically set a time with the SNTP setting enabled. 2. When the role-based access control is used, set a role attribute type for the LDAP server in a manner so that US-ASCII is selected for a string expression. For example, select Unicode String for Windows Active Directory and Printable String for Novell NetWare6.5. 3. A correct role may not be obtained from the LDAP server. In such a case, log into Administration from the TopAccess screen, and select Maintenance, then Directory Service. On the Directory Service page, select the server where roles are registered. On the Directory Service Properties page, change User Name and Password to those of an administrator. 4. In the network connection between this equipment and a Windows Vista computer, configure the network setting using an IPv6 address if you want to perform communication, such as file sharing / printer sharing / file transfer, using the SMB protocol. In addition, the normal IPv6 addresses cannot be used, so be sure to replace the corresponding characters in the IPv6 address according to the following procedure: a. Replace the separator "colons ( : )" in the IPv6 address with "dashes ( - )". b. Add a domain suffix ".ipv6-literal.net" after the address with the replaced separator. Example: When you want to specify the address "::1", use "\\0--1.ipv6-literal.net". Ref. Website (Eng): . IP Address Setting - Input for IP Address is 3 digits when MFP cannot be found by IP Address designation. E.g. 192.254.10.5 -> 192.254.010.005 2. When the [Cancel] button is pressed on the SMTP Authentication setting screen, the screen until the [Cancel] button is pressed becomes valid. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Web Services for Scan -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Although a scan application is used to set a paper size, an image is scanned at a size of an original placed on the glass or the ADF. - Although a scan application is used to set "Contrast" and "Brightness," a scanned image is not affected. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Network -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Issues ====== 1. When the following occurs after changing network setting, turn off the MFP and then on. (1) When the "NETWORK INITIALIZING" display remains on the panel. (2) Network settings are not properly reflected. (3) Network settings cannot be changed.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
