Overview

This is the Windows XP network driver for the Gateway Augsburg, Hazelton, Midway 2, and Seabreeze motherboards.

Note: Drivers for other operating systems are also provided within this archive. However, Gateway has not tested and does not support the drivers with these other operating systems. If installed on a computer running one of these operating systems, the drivers may not be compatible with some programs on your computer. Contact the affected program's publisher for more information.

Identification

To confirm that this is the correct network driver update for your desktop computer, follow these steps:

If the computer is turned off:

1. Turn on the computer. On your keyboard, repeatedly press the F1 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.

2. In the BIOS Setup Utility, on the Main tab, look for the BIOS version line. The version needs to be AG91510J.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or BF86510A.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or SR84510A.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx (where x = variable characters, identifying the version of BIOS currently loaded). The BIOS prefix AG91510J (Augsburg), BF86510A (Midway 2, Hazelton), or SR84510A (Seabreeze) is constant and specifically identifies the correct motherboard.

3. If the BIOS prefix is AG91510J, BF86510A, SR84510A, this is the correct video driver for your computer. Press the F10
key to exit the BIOS Setup Utility.

If the computer is turned on and in Windows:

1. From the Start menu, click Shut Down. In the Shut Down Windows dialog box, select Restart, and then click Yes.

2. As soon as the computer restarts, on your keyboard, repeatedly press the F1 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.

3. In the BIOS Setup Utility, on the Main tab, look for the BIOS version line. The version needs to be AG91510J.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or BF86510A.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or SR84510A.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx (where x = variable
characters, identifying the version of BIOS currently loaded). The BIOS prefix AG91510J (Augsburg), BF86510A (Midway 2, Hazelton), or SR84510A (Seabreeze) is constant and specifically identifies the correct motherboard.

4. If the BIOS prefix is AG91510J, BF86510A, SR84510A, this is the correct video driver for your motherboard. Press the F10 key to exit the BIOS Setup Utility.
