Overview

This document describes the steps necessary to install and configure the media card drivers for the computers listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section of this document. 


Installation

1.  The files extract to the C:\Cabs\D00192-001-001 folder. 

2.  From the Start menu, point to Programs, Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.

3.  In Windows Explorer, in the C:\Cabs\D00192-001-001 folder, double-click Setup.exe.

4.  In the InstalShield dialog box, click Next.

5.  Copies files, click Finish.


Removal

1.  From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 

2.  In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.

3.  In the Add or Remove Programs window, select Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515 drivers, and then click Change/Remove.

4.  In the Confirm Uninstall dialog box, click OK

5.  In the InstallShield dialog box, click Finish.

6.  Close all open windows.


Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the installation steps again.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
