Overview



This document describes the steps necessary to install and configure the Windows XP Conexant AC-Link audio driver for the Gateway notebook computer models listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section below.





Identification



If you have a Gateway notebook computer listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section below and are running Windows XP, install this driver.





Installation



1.  The files extract to the C:\Cabs\D00377-002-002 folder. 



2.  From the Start menu, click Run.  In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\D00377-002-002\Setup.exe.  Click OK.



3.  In the Device driver installation wizard dialog box, click OK.



4.  Files copy.



5.  Installation is complete.  



6.  In the Device driver installation wizard dialog box, click OK to restart the computer.  





Removal



These drivers are necessary for correct functionality of the computer and should not be removed.





Troubleshooting



If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the installation steps again.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
