Digital Media Reader 1.10 Intended platform: Emachines/Gateway Desktop reader Supports IOI VID/PID of VID=0A48/PID=3239 Supports Northstar VID/PID of VID=058F/PID=9360 old TAR01 and TAR02 Supports AU9362 and AU9368 When installing the Digital Media Reader the following process must be followed: NOTE: This version will support all 3 media readers(IOI, Northstar TAR 01, and Northstar TAR 02(LC)). 2. Plug in BOTH IOI PID=3239 AND NS PID=9360(TAR 01) and NS PID=9360(TAR02-LC) reader into the system at the same time in different USB port (there may be minor work to twick USB wires for 2nd and 3rd reader in the system as both IOI and NS reader use internal USB cable) NOTE: If you want the icon software to only work with Northstar desktop media reader, then you do not need to plug in the IOI media reader. Or if in the future, when Northstar will no longer ship the TAR 01 reader(old), then you will no longer need to plug in the old Northstar reader(TAR 01). 3. Run the installation software to completion and success 4. At this point, if you still have all 3 reader plugged into the system, you will see 12 drive icons(4 for IOI, 4 for Northstar-TAR 01, and 4 for Northstar TAR 02). 5. Remove any 2 of the 3 drives. 6. System is reader to work with both Northstar or IOI 8-in-1 reader 7. The system is ready to get imaged. Change Control: 11/15/2004 1. This version of the icon software does NOT require a reboot after installation. The changes will take effect immediately after the installation process. 2. This version supports all 3 media readers. IOI, Northstar TAR01, and Northstar TAR02 3. This version can be uninstalled without any of the readers being physically plugged into the system. 4. Control Panel version is 1.10Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
