Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file 2KXPVDock, files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\2KXPVDock folder on the hard drive. 1. Make sure that the cable dock is attached to a 120W power supply. 2. Connect the cable dock to the computer. 3. On the Found New Hardware box, click Locate and install driver software (recommended). 4. Click Continue on the User Access Control (if applicable). 5. The next screen prompts for the disk. Click I don't have the disk; show me other options. 6. Click Browse my computer for driver software (Advanced). 7. Type or browse to C:\Cabs\2kxpvdock, and then click Next. 8. In the Successfully installed window, click Close. Removal This driver is required for proper use of your cable docking device. There are no removal instructions. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
