Identification If you have a Gateway notebook computer listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section and are running Windows XP, install these drivers. Installation 1. The files are extracted to the C:\Cabs\9528151 folder on your hard drive. 2. From the Start menu, click Run. 3. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\9528151\Setup.exe. Click OK. 4. In the Welcome to InstallShield dialog box, click Next. 5. In the License Agreement dialog box, click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement. 6. Files copy. 7. In the InstallShield Wizard Complete dialog box, click Finish. 8. The computer restarts, and the installation is complete. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, select Intel(r) Extreme Graphics 2 Driver, and then click Remove. 4. In the Systems Settings Change dialog box, click Yes to restart the computer. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. Reason for Update This is the initial driver. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
