Identification If you have a computer listed in the Applicable Part Numbers section, and are running Windows XP, install this driver. Installation 1. The files extract to the C:\Cabs\D00454-002-002 folder. 2. From the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\D00454-002-002\Setup.exe. Click OK. 3. In the InstallShield dialog box, click Next. 4. Files copy. 5. In the InstallShield dialog box, click Finish. The computer restarts and installation is complete. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, select Digital Media Reader, and then click Change/Remove. 4. In the Confirm Uninstall dialog box, click OK. 5. In the InstallShield dialog box, click Finish. The computer restarts and removal is complete. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the installation steps again. Reason for Update This is the initial release of the driver. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
