1. Overview of Muratec Print Direct

Muratec Print Direct is a Windows application program that spools a specified PDF file directly to the print spooler, as RAW data.

2. Operating Environment of Muratec Print Direct
===========================================
 
The Muratec Print Direct supports the following Operating Systems, and Internet Explorer5.0 and later versions:
Windows95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP/Server2003/XP x64 Edition/Server2003 x64 Edition  Vista/Vista x64 Edition/Server 2008/Server 2008 x64 Edition

(Caution)
 To install the program, you need 1MB or more disk space.
 Some PDF File Viewer applications do not support the above OSes. 
 Some printer must have a HDD.

3. How to Install Muratec Print Direct
===========================================

 1. Start Setup.exe in Disk 1.
 2. Select 'Next' on 'Welcome' screen.
 3. Select 'Yes' on 'License' screen.
 4. Copying of the files begins. 
 5. Installation is completed.

4. How to Uninstall Muratec Print Direct
===========================================

There are two ways to uninstall this program:

(1) Uninstalling from Programs of Start menu
 1. Click Start button. 
 2. Select 'Muratec' in the Programs.
 3. Select 'Muratec Print Direct'.
 4. Execute 'Uninstall Muratec Print Direct'.

(2) Uninstalling by 'Add/Remove Program' of Control Panel
 You can also unsintall the Muratec Print Direct by selecting 'Muratec Print Direct' and executing 'Add/Remove...'

5. How to Start Muratec Print Direct
===========================================

 1. Select the PDF file on Explorer and right-click it. 
 2. Select 'Muratec Print Direct' in the menu. 
 3. The screen to start Muratec Print Direct appears. 

*  For the descriptions of the buttons and how to use them, refer to Help.

6. Point of Caution
===========================================

Coution when insatlling
 You must have Administrator access to install this program.
Caution when uninstalling
 If the Muratec Print Direct cannot be removed because 'OkDrtPrn.dll' is being used by Windows, reboot the Windows following the messages that appear on the screen.  The Muratec Print Direct will be removed after the Windows reboots.
Caution when update installation from an old version.( version 1.x.x.x or version 2.x.x.x)
 If you want to update this utility from an old version to version 3.x.x.x, please start up an installer again after uninstalling an old version.

7. Restrictions
===========================================

 . This Utility does not work if you select more than one file. 
 . This Utility does not support Selecting of Media type.
 . There is the following restriction in Print page range.
    1. The printing is not done, in the case that the value over the total number of pages of the 
       file that prints it in a/the printing Start page is set up.
    2. The final page of the printing page even is printed, in the case that the value over the total number of pages of the
       file that prints it in a/the printing End page is set up.
    3. When 2-Sided printing is enabled, Print page range is disnabled.
