 2. Features
 ===========================================

This software lets you store ICC profiles on your printer hard disk. You can use an ICC profile for color management, such as matching colors between your monitor and printer or simulating another printers color reproduction. When you print, you can specify an ICC profile using an ID number in the mode setup screen, for Graphic Pro, in the printer driver.

 Compatible with Windows Server 2008/Server 2008 x64/Vista/Vista x64/Server 2003/Server 2003 x64/XP/XP x64/2000/NT4.0/95/98/Me(English versions).

 Internet Explorer4.0 or greater is required.

Your printer needs to be connected via Parallel, USB or TCP/IP. 
  *You need to install an optional hard disk.
  *USB is not available with Windows 95 and Windows NT4.0.

 4. How to install
 ========================================

  *Under Windows Server 2008/Server 2008 x64/Vista/Vista x64/Server 2003/Server 2003 x64/XP/XP x64/2000/NT4.0 you must have administrative rights.

 (1) Double-click "SETUP.EXE."
 (2) The "Welcome" screen appears. Click "Next."
 (3) Check "Installation folder" and click "Next."
 (4) Check "Program folder name" and click "Next."

 5. Notes
 =================================
 1. Without administrative rights, Windows Server 2008/Server 2008 x64/Vista/Vista x64/Server 2003/Server 2003 x64/XP/XP x64/2000/NT4.0 cannot communicate with a printer connected to a local port.

 2. During installation, you may see the message "Initialization of parallel class driver failed." If this appears, reboot your PC before using Profile Assistant.

 3. If you upgrade your operating system from Windows Me/98/95 to NT4/2000/XP, you need to upgrade Profile Assistant too.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
