IMPORTANT
* This utility must be installed on a PC that is connected to a network.  The PC must have TCP/IP and or IPX/SPX protocols installed.  Please refer to the operating system manuals for information on how to install these.

1.2 Standard Setup

Standard Setup lets you make detailed configuration changes to the Ethernet.

(1) Select [Standard Setup] from the menu screen.

(2) Select one of the following ways to use the utility:
  * Run the utility directly from the CD-ROM without installing it.
  * Install the utility and then run it.

(3) Continue with setup following the screen instructions.

Quick Setup is used to configure the Ethernet board to print, using the minimum required settings.
(1) Select [Quick Setup] from the Menu screen.

(2) Continue with the setup, following the screen instructions.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
