1. Supported Operating Environments

This CD-ROM contains Muratec MFX-C3400 drivers that support computers operating in
Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows server 2008, Windows Server 2008 x64
Windows XP sp1+sp2, Windows XP x64, Windows server 2003, Windows Server 2003 x64,
Windows 2000, Windows Server 2000, and MAC OS X.3 and above.
Additionally, utilities are available on the CD-ROM for printing Color Swatches and
network configuration and management for use with the networked-capable MFP.

2. MFP Driver Installation
---------------------------------------------------------
1. Automatic installation: The link 'Install Driver' under 'Driver Setup' tab will
guide you for automatic installation of Drivers.
2. Manual installation:
a. Printer Driver and FAX Driver - To install drivers manually
use Add Printer wizard or New hardware found wizard.
b. Twain Driver for Scanner: To install the scanner drivers manually
use New hardware found wizard(Plug-n-Play).
c. Driver structure on CD for manual installation
Printer Driver (PCL): \\Drivers\ENU\PCL\<OS>
Printer Driver (PS): \\Drivers\ENU\PS\<OS>
FAX Driver: \\Drivers\ENU\FAX\<OS>
Twain Driver: \\Drivers\ENU\WinAll\TWAIN
Select the <OS> folder as per your operating system.
Note:
1. <OS> information:
WinXP2k - This folder contains driver for Windows x86 (Windows 2000,
Windows XP sp1+sp2, Server 2000 Windows Vista, Windows server 2003 and Windows Server 2008)
WinXP64 - This folder contains driver for Windows x64 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows
Server 2003 and Windows server 2008)
2. Scanner drivers in folder 'TWAIN' located in the root of the CD are used for
auto installation; do not use these drivers for Plug-n-Play installation.

Copying this software is forbidden, excluding a backup copy or copy made in order
to change media size, and may only be performed by the person who purchased the printer.
Usage of the Muratec MFX-C3400 printer drivers and associated software utilities is covered by the
License Agreement accepted by the user before installation of said software.
The customer may not reverse-assemble or reverse-engineer this software in part or in whole.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
