This utility graphically displays the PCI configuration space
on NT systems.  See Help file and About box for further information.

Corrections and additions to the Vendor ID/Device ID to Vendor and Device
names list should be e-mailed to support@bluewatersystems.com


Installation:
     Copy all distribution files to a new directory (local, not a
	 network directory).
	 (If you are installing over an older version of PCIview,
     if you choose a different directory than the directory of
	 the older version you will need to delete the Registry entry
	 for the older version, see below, and re-boot)
	

To Start:
     From a command Window at the install directory type:
          pciview

To completely remove this program:
     1. delete all files in the install directory
     2. use RegEdt32 to delete the keys under:
	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\PCIVIEW

The source code to the driver portion of this utility is shipped with 
the WinDK(tm) DDK Class Library from BlueWater Systems,Inc.

PCIView is no-charge, no support utility.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
