Information file for firmware release V3.015/3.009 for SUNNY ISLAND 5048 General: ======== This firmware supports the device SUNNY ISLAND 5048. The update is being done by copying the file "UPDATE.BIN" to an SD/MMC-Card and inserting this card into the SD/MMC-card slot of the SUNNY ISLAND 5048 MASTER UNIT, which is in STAND BY mode. Slave devices which are connected to the Master unit via communication do not have to be updated explicitly. The Master unit is updating the Slave units automatically. If a Slave unit has been updated accidentally while the Master unit still has the older version of the software, this will be detected by the Master unit and the Slave unit will be set to the version of the Master unit automatically. CAUTION: This firmware version is for SUNNY ISLAND 5048 only and not for other devices of the SUNNY ISLAND family. By updating the firmware, no parameter which has been set in advance will be deleted as long as this is not explicitly explained in this text file. For safety reasons the parameter list should be stored on the SD/MMC-Card (please see manual: "Store and load parameters") Changes to previous versions: ============================= Firmware release V1.020/1.008 ============================= - The unwanted restart of the device after inserting the SD/MMC-Card several times has been solved - The emersion of a watchdog failure after a certain operating time has been solved.
