Go to Windows 95/98 "Control Panel" -> Double-click on "Modems" -> Click on "Diagnostics" -> select the COM Port for the modem -> Click on "More Info...". Write down the Com Port used by the modem. If the modem information is not displayed after a couple of minutes, or an error message come up, stop and reinstall your modem drivers. 2. Double click on FLASHCOM.EXE to run the flash utility. 3. Select the COM port and the modem. 4. Follow on-screen instructions to finish. Warning: Do not interrupt the flashing process. The modem memory need be physically flashed in case the software flash fail. 5. Go back to step 1 to verify the modem after the Windows restart. 6. If the modem drivers are not up to date, you will see an error message "Can't Open Port", reinstall the modem drivers.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
