readme.txt Driver File Contents (ct-linux.zip)

Installation von KAAN Advanced USB, EMV TriCAP, SecOVID Reader III und KAAN TriB@nk.

Voraussetzung: pcsc-ccid (min. V 1.3.0) und pcsc-lite (min. V 1.4.3) sind installiert.
Neueste Versionen gibt es hier:
http://alioth.debian.org/projects/pcsclite

Installation: (32 oder 64 = Bit-Version des Betriebssystems)

1) zuerst als root-Benutzer: 

- Stoppen des pcscd Dienstes, z. B. /etc/init.d/pcscd stop
- Kopieren der Dateien aus kobil-install.tgz ein Unterverzeichnis
- ./install32 oder ./install64 ausfuehren.
- Den Dienst rcpcscd wieder starten, z. B. /etc/init.d/pcscd start
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der pcscd-Dienst auch beim PC-Neustart gestartet wird.

2) dann als Benutzer:
- Kopieren der Dateien in ein Unterverzeichnis und ./installuser32 oder ./installuser64 ausfuehren.

Test mittels cardping und eingelegter Karte: ./cardping -b1 20100101
Antwort z. B.: 3B BA ... 90 01   (90 01 = OK)

Falls es nicht funktioniert, dann bitte das Logging einschalten in der .CT_devices:
  LogfileName=~/ctapi-logfile
  LogLevel=#15


und wenn eine Meldung kommt, wie z. B.:

./cardping: error while loading shared libraries: 
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file

1) dann gegen Sie an der Konsole ein:

ll /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6*

Es wird eine Versionen aufgelistet, die beim ln-Befehl als 
	<vorhandene Version>
bezeichnet wird. Wenn keine Datei gefunden wird, dann verwenden Sie:
ll /usr/lib/libstdc++*

2) und erstellen einen symbolischen Link mit der oben gefundenen Datei

ln -s /usr/lib/<vorhandene Version> /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

(bei 64-Bit das Verzeichnis /usr/lib64 verwenden)

1) firstly as root-user:
- stop pcscd service, i. e. /etc/init.d/pcscd stop
- copy the files into a subdirectory of /root and start ./install32 or ./install64.
- start pcscd again, i. e. with /etc/init.d/pcscd start or restart the computer
- make sure, that pcscd starts automatically with start of the pc

2) afterwards as user:
- copy the files into a subdirectory and execute ./installuser32 or ./installuser64.

Test with cardping and inserted smart card: ./cardping -b1 20100101
Answer i. e.:   3B BA 96 ... 90 01   (90 01 = OK)

If it doesn't work, then activate the logging at .CT_devices:
  LogfileName=~/ctapi-logfile
  LogLevel=#15

and if there is a message like:
./cardping: error while loading shared libraries: 
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file

then enter at the command line:

1) ll /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6* or if not available /usr/lib/libstdc++*
and create a symbolic link with the version listed with ll:
2) ln -s /usr/lib//usr/lib/<existing version> libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

(with 64 bit use as directory/usr/lib64)
