Prerequisites for using DriverInstaller:
- Close Watcher
- There is an 'Installer_parameters.xml' file in the same directory as DriverInstaller.exe
- There is a 'Drivers' directory in the same directory as DriverInstaller.exe


Command line options:
-r : uninstall drivers from system
-l : enable logging (Creates an 'Install_Log.txt' file with installation details)
-c : removes all old versions of inf files specified in Installer_parameters.xml from the system
-pd: used for specifying the location of the "Drivers" directory, usage:
     C:>DriverInstaller.exe -pd "C:\TEMP\Drivers"
-px: used for specifying the location of the XML file, usage:
     C:>DriverInstaller.exe -px "C:\TEMP\XML\installation_parameters.xml"

Usage example: "C:>DriverInstaller -l -r"


Troubleshooting:
If you notice any problems after running DriverInstaller to install drivers for your
device, try running DriverInstaller with the uninstall option ('-r') before running
it again to re-install your drivers.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
