1. Description:
   This driver is supporting for QNX6.2.1 for X86 and ARM CPU.
It is for Serial port only.

2. Content
   devi-urtc.tar     --   a. for X86
                          b. have been test

   devi-urtc-arm.tar  --  a. for ARM
                          b. test yet.

3. Setup (example for X86)
   a. copy devi-urtc.tar into your directory in your computer
      #cp /fs/floppy/devi-urtc.tar  /your directory

   b. decompress devi-urtc.tar
      #tar xvf devi-urtc.tar
   c. copy devi-urtc into /usr/photon
      #cp ./devi-urtc /usr/photon
   d. run the driver
      # devi-urtc urtc fd -d/dev/ser1 abs
      *Note: /dev/ser1 is COM1
             /dev/ser2 is COM2
             user should know where your device is.

4. Calibration
   a. QNX has supported calibration tool called "calib", so
      usr just run the "calib".

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
