Install MCS3 driver on Windows XP

If you are using Windows XP the Add New Hardware Wizard is required to complete the installation of the driver.   

1) After the installation of the MCS3 software you start the program and plug in the MCS3 USB cable.

2) The Add New Hardware Wizard appears. 

3) The first screen informs you that Windows is going to search for new drivers. Click "No, not this time"

4) Select "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" and click "Next".

5) Windows will automatically search for the driver and install it.

6) Next, Windows will inform you that it has finished installing the software for your MCS3 USB.

7) Click the Finish button.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
