This software is designed for computer operation in the case of interruption of power supply in 
the power network. It traces the signals coming to COM-port from the source of 
uninterruptible power supply. When the signal of the loss of voltage in the network is obtained, 
this software signalizes with the help of visual, sound indications, mail messages, initiation of 
external programs or closing of all opened programs and then in a certain period of time it turns 
off computer power supply. 
 
Installation and Setting 
This software demands no installation. You have to copy it into any folder on your hard drive 
and launch the file ups.exe. 
 
Setting fields:   
After you have launched the software, choose  in the list "Communication port" the COM-port 
of uninterruptible power supply  works into. Press the button "Auto Detect".
In the setting "shout down parameters" mark the parameter "Battery Life when Mains Failure" - 
UPS working period (which depends on its type) after the loss of voltage in the network.
Mark the parameter "Shutdown delay" delay period after which the software begins turning off 
the system.  
If it's necessary show the path and parameters of executed file in the section "File Execute". 
You may show also e-mail address and its settings for e-mail reports in the section "E-mail". 
You can test them using "Test" buttons. Then you may press "Hide" button after which the 
software will begin operation in background mode.  
This software creates log-file, which is named in the folder Tritups.log. It appears after pressing 
"Log" button. 
 
In order to uninstall the software delete its keys in the register 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
